SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it is alarmed regarding the high range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company stage designed for intervention activities a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging with the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to empower the servicing of more info all consumers and maximize use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
